Private Classes

At Maison Clay we also offer private classes for between 1 and 6 people at a time at our studio in Brooklyn NYC. These classes are very intimate and allows you to explore the art of pottery at a completely different level and intensity suited to your pace. We will work with you to cater to your specific needs (throwing lids, handles, large vessels, private introduction to throwing) for a fun and unforgettable experience.

Private classes cover the following:

  • 2 hours (or more by arrangement) of throwing on the wheel

  • professional pottery teacher

  • make as many pieces as you like in the allotted time*

  • BYOB (should you wish)

  • Studio speakers take - bring your own playlist

Your experienced instructor is available throughout the session to help teach and guide you. With enough time and budget, we can also organize special clays, glazes and the tools needed for the specific ideal projects.

Private classes cost and links for vouchers:

  • $200 for 1 person (buy voucher here and reach out to arrange)

  • $150 per person for a couple (voucher here)

  • $130pp for 3 people (voucher here)

  • $120pp for 4 to 6 people (deposit voucher here)

* Please also note that although you can make as many pieces as you like during the session only one piece’s (1x) trimming, glazing and firing is included, additional pieces will be $10 each to trim, glaze and fire.
